New motor, great improvement in battery capacity and a surprise for the controller , looks like a Levo SL only slightly beefier and a different way to mount the battery. I think by the end of January all the speculation will be over. However I think only top S works models available at launch in two different colours.
New way to mount battery with improvement in capacity and slimmer frame does it mean battery is removable?

Please tell me they’re finally doing a wireless bar controller. I downgraded from the mastermind TCU to the old style TCU to get rid of the bar mounted controller because I wanted no cables, it would be nice if they went to a BT bar controller like with Bosch.

It doesn't help you much and doesn't reveal anything which I think the mods will remove (like all the other posts :) ), but the part number is SP23800 ..

Or it was, that was from 2 years ago, so might have changed now.

Interested to know if there will be a range extender option on top of a bigger battery?

I am sure there will be a lot of good stuff👍, what about the pricing, I bet it will be going trough the roof not just for the high end models, but overall...any thoughts...

The price will be as high as the market is willing to pay, it is the buyer who decides the price, not the seller.

One could argue the discounted prices are the true prices in today's market. MSRPs are meaningless currently imo.

The bigger manufactures would do well the heed the warnings of the recent bankruptcies and the increased cost of living affecting the majority of their potential customers.
I think this is why the S works and pro will get released first, for those who just want the latest and greatest or the price is pocket change.
The 2025 Gen3 (only ever seen 2025 except, comp carbon and the two alloy) hasn’t received any discounts so these price will be slashed. The gen 4 will generate buzz and a discounted 2025 Gen 3 which lets be frank is still a fantastic bike with a slightly pregnant belly will get a short term boost in sales.

Agree… I’ll buy a Gen 4 S works but not till I can get 20+% off list. If that’s a year away so be it.

Although bike prices haven’t gone through the roof… the Vala for example isn’t any more than the Heckler was etc.

I think we’re currently at the limit of what people are willing to pay.

In Germany, we have the option to lease a bike like a company car. Many people argue that this is why prices have increased so much. I wonder if that is a reason because prices in the USA or UK (for example) are just as high. Is leasing an option there as well?

A few shops in norway leas out to privat and companies also a few companies leas out ebikes to employees and the Sick leave is going down since cycling to and from work is good for your health.

Hopefully this is a starting trend that will grow

Let's hope the price stays low due to the fact the amount of DJI amflows that have been sold so far
Nah, don't really think the current DJI sales have affected Specialized in any way (yet). They have sold very few compared to what Spesh sells. Also, it's still not that easy to get your hands on one.
The AMFlow was never intended to have massive sales, it was more to show off the new system. But I don't think it will be that long till we start seeing big brands start fitting that DJI system on their bikes, and that, yes will affect their sales. So they have to be careful with pricing, IMO the price will stay the same as what it is now.

Specialized is in trouble though if the DJI-System becomes available in all markets if the rumour about a much bigger intube battery is true it will most likely be heavier than the Avinox System and most likely also weaker. This could result in a scenario like the Bosch Gen5 launch when the new bikes already felt kind of outdated when compared to the Avinox.
