Levo Battery

Will they be making a lighter battery for the Levo? I have a 500wh currently which is based on 18650’s yes?
i don’t really need the 700wh. Which I think is based on the 21700’s. What I would really like is a 1.8-2 kg battery based on 21700’s or whatever is the best battery out there wh/kg. I’m thinking 350-400wh would fit in that weight. That would drop about 4lbs off my levo!

Yup.

If Spec can stuff 500-700wh's in their enclosure then they certainly could make a lesser amperage version. The 21700 cells would be most effective due to their higher amp rating per cell resulting in a lower C rate.

Figure you would need 28 of these to get to 400wh. Anyone know how many cells in the current 700wh battery.

So 10s2p would give you about 350wh? Only 4lbs lighter. Or on my bike 42-43 lbs. Not 38.5lbs. But still with a 90nm motor for the very few times you need it.
