Here is another possible solution to stop crud getting inside motor casing.

The idea here is to use a water deflector strip to stop water entering motor casing via rear hole (near swing arm pivot point).

I believe water is drawn into motor casing due to surface tension and smooth change of direction "curved surface" highlighted above.

Purchase a ready made water deflector strip and cut to required length:

Or make your own water deflector strip from a windscreen wiper blade:

BTW. I'm still waiting on delivery so I have not yet tested this idea; I thought it's worth sharing for the benefit of other owners of 2019 Turbo Levo FSR.

If I may be honnest, I like the previous solution shared on the forum more. Not sure if you missed this.

Especially the rubber Bikescene UK dealership fix of which @James_MTB was so kind to share it with us:

As I read some of you are afraid that closing the gap can cause overheating, I guess it’s wise to read this post of Specialized Rider Care as well relating to the Bikescene solution:

At home I made the rubber flap based on the pictures of the post of @Kiwi in Wales:

This solution is very simple and is very efficient.
