Thought I'd join the bandwagon on YouTube, First video, no idea what I'm doing just having fun

I know it’s a boring ride just wanted to try out a DJI Nero that I’ve just purchased….so a leisurely ride on the cycle path with my son to test it, seems to track well although it did bugger off with a mind of its own towards the end of this clip, I stopped and it did find me again and come back I’ll try it out on a few trails and let you know how it gets on

Just in case you wernt aware there’s a firmware upgrade that’s come out in the last couple days
that’s greatly improves it. Faster speed ect. Worth checking out if you didn’t already know

Loco is a tricky trail — you need a hellish amount of speed (and a good old pull) into the qualifier, but then have to slow down dramatically for the rest of the trail or you’ll end up massively overshooting everything else! You’ll feel like a hero when you get it right though .

He's a bit out of shape, injuries and the wrong side of 39 we'd done a full day pedal pass the day before so were all feeling a bit tired

Yeah we'd stopped and had a look at the qualifier, which is bigger than it looks on camera! It was down hill from there though

It's a bit of a weird trail and they've changed it a fair bit since i last rode it, it doesn't really make a lot of sense as a trail.

It's fun (when you get it right) and the gaps are low consequence and smaller than Insufficient so it's a reasonable stepping stone trail.
They're supposedly extending it to run from the top as one of the 263932738 new trails being built so it'll be interesting to see how the existing section is changed when that happens.

I always felt the drops were bigger than Insufficient Funds... Maybe they've tamed them.

The first drop definitely feels bigger than any on insufficient but the jumps are all smaller.

aparently its a 'step-down'

NOT that I have ever managed to treat it as such & I agree that there are 3 'dRoPs' in Locomotion including the qualifier, also at the end theres some rollers that are actually a pair of doubles & even they've been jumped as a quad by those far more able than myself

a chat is easy but as to drooling, thats possibly a bit harder as the Torque is in an unridable condition following Canyon's safety warning about the batteries as specc'd and their 'dont ride' warnings

^^ great on a 4 month old bike thats been parked-up for 10 weeks because I fell off it

I'm hoping (& Hopping?) to get back to work by the end of the month and slowly get back pedaling but that'll be gentle stuff as I'll have to re-learn how to ride as well as regaining fitness
