Ok so it didn't quite go to plan, I'm at work today so it cant be that bad

Broken arm (wouldn't let me take a picture of the X-ray) but its up at the ball end by the shoulder.
Ribs are definitely sore.
Skin is lacking on the fore arms.
Belly has an imprint of the Max gopro in it an is slowly turning funny colours.
Nose is red where the other gopro smacked me in the face as i was using my head to slow down.
And yes my hair is now blue as i couldn't get any green.

I'm riding like a complete wuss on here as I'm still very conscious of the injury I'm still carrying to the back of my leg and a little bit of confidence shot ..however that shouldn't take away the fact that it was a great ride and Tony & Wayne were riding like demons ..

Stromlo Forest MTB Park, Canberra Australia - One of my favourite trails that I discovered only 3 weeks ago and been slowly learning this fun 6 min 3 part blue trail.... I am using my 2019 Santa Cruz Bronson V3 till the Norco Range VLT C2 arrives. Learning to jump more confidently as of late and having fun pushing my comfort zones.

Checking out the hero 7 chest mounted at LBP last week ?. Great video mate!
Great footage! It you could adjust the go pro a little bit up and get more footage of you surroundings and what is coming up on the trail Your video's would be killer!!! Still, great work and great riding skilzs!!!;)

A recent run down the local black & lower red run on my Mondi Crafty, with a little squiggle segment intro at the start. Note a slight face plant and expletives are captured near the end of the black segment so maybe NSF Work or children.
& this time after couple of days recovery without the mid ride spill and no expletives.
Set a Strava PB on the Black segment and a good ranking for the year to date/old farts age group. so pride can come after a fall ! (until the next crash obviously!)

Video friends -- Any recommendation on a small portable tripod? All my footage today is just GoPro on my chest, but thinking I might start adding some trailside footage. I carry my phone, so thinking of a small tripod. Not looking to carry anything large.

Thoughts? Maybe a small gorilla pod?
Update: Great point asked about storage -- Something that will fit in a small pack (I carry a USWE 9L Airborne)

I might also add a 360 camera (not to show in 360) to record both directions and not worry about aiming as much.

I like mixing the Max and the standard GoPro, so with you there. Gorilla pods are good but unless you have a bag or a way of storing it on your bike???

I like this belt/bag strap mount,

it's fully rotational

The clamp is pretty strong.
You can angle via the camera and/or clamp it to pretty much anything that the clamp will fit ( I often use tree branches lol )

Small and light enough to just store in pocket or even on the bike ( so long as the clamp bites ) so it's ready for when desired

A few of my favourite trails near the North Shore in BC. They are all on Burke Mountain which is a total b!tch to climb on anything other than an emtb as its pretty steep with lots of lose gravel and small rocks which affectionally call baby heads. Almost 1000 meters of climbing in less than 2.5 hours. This mountain is pretty good!

Red R: Single Black shot last year (Levo SL) to show the progress of the trails which are only 50 meters apart.

Upper Elevator: Double Black: (Kenevo SL) My warm up after a little rain the previous day. I needed to check out how slippery the wood work would be before going on to try out the next trail

Deliverance: (Kenevo SL) Double Black and a dam sketchy trail when its dry. Absolutely treacherous if the wood work has any moisture on it! You are always relieved when you make it down this trail in one piece!

More crappy videos from the goprostoprecording channel.

D
I find that it only works if you're very scarcastic with it. "Goproooow Stop Recording" tends to work for me. But the Wife, it listens to her talking and will switch on, record take pictures etc from in its box in another room.
