here my Spectral 7.0 2018.
I am from Germany and I already have 1500km on mostly trails and downhill.

I changed:
Hope stem
Nukeprove bar
E7000 shifter
Wolftooth remote
Oneup 210 dropper
Sunrace Kassette
Race face 32t chainring
DTSwiss Carbon wheelset

Next I will change to a 230x65 shock for 162mm rear travel and 170mm air shaft in the front.

How are you liking the 32 chainring? I thought of trying a 36 one because the original 34 is too small, so I am curious why choose a 32.

My typical rides are in a very steep terrain to get to the trail-head and technical uphills.
Therefore I need the 32t to keep the rpm for the Shimano motor over 60.
On the other hand, while commuting I never head the feeling I need a bigger gear to go faster.
If it would be possible I would run 30t but I don't think it fits the spider and the chain line already looks awkward.

- Push industries front spring/coil
- Fox dps factory rear shock
- Dmr vault Flat pedals
- Michelin wild enduro 2.4 x-gum front tyres
- Michelin wild enduro 2.6 rear tyres
- Sqlabs saddle
- Not installed yet: Race face ar off-set 3.5 and 3.0 wheels set with hope rs4 hubs and hope floating disc.

Fine machine only a lot of maintenance:

- Broken the rear shock twice.
- Xt rear axle broken
- Replaced bearings of the rear damper link
- Xt derailleur and complete drive unit forced to be replaced (slipped)

But never the less it's a nice bike

36 works great, you only need to adjust the chain guide. otherwise it will not fit.

I'm changing out the Maxxis tires to Schwabe Eddy Current E-MTB specific tires. My Maxxis rear tire is toast after only 200 miles! Had a flat last week (was still running tubes) and tried to go tubeless (Stans fluid installed) only to discover the tire has a major hole in right next to one of the knobs. Also looking to install a 36T chainring, but need to find a compatible one. Looking for input on this.

Really no difference that I could visually see between the RS and the Fox at the top. The CF frame is indented underneath so there's sufficient clearance. They say you cannot install a spring shock though, but I haven't measured with my calipers as I don't intend to install a spring shock anyhow.

Cool. My biggest issue is being 250lbs and not bottoming out. Hypothetically the dpx2 can handle that better...or I’m just throwing money away. We’ll find out soon! Thanks again

Here are a few shots of my 2020 Spectral:ON CF 7.0...all stock aside from the DPX2 that I swapped in cuz the spec’d RockShox Deluxe Select showed up DOA. I’ve had it since September and it’s honestly proving to be the most fun bike I’ve ever owned! I actually sold five analog bikes that were seeing little or no use, cuz I was tired of getting beaten up on rides. Recovering after rides when you’re getting older is a real thing, and I found myself making more and more excuses to not get my ass onto a trail! So I unloaded everything...a GT DHi DH rig, a Santa Cruz Bullit, a Cove Stiffee FR, a Turner 5-Spot and a VooDoo Bokor...and picked up the Canyon. And ever since it showed up I haven’t turned down a ride any time my friends call! I don’t end the day feeling completely smashed. And I can’t wait to get out for the next ride...

Just got my CF 7 2021 yesterday and now it's ready to go. Too bad trails are pretty much unridable here in southern Finland at the moment due to melting snow/ice/mud. Maybe in a few weeks. Weight settled to 23,8kg in riding condition (tubeless, frame bag with equipment, mallet-e pedals)

Tried it out on the yard and feels pretty tanky after normal full suspension trail bike but trail performace is what matters in practice. I'll probably order new decals for the mudhuggers to get better color scheme. Fork and shock new decals are on their way from Silkgraphics.

Spring clean and service done. Forks lowers serviced new dust seals, new chain, brake pads, freehub and cassette cleaned and finally got round to rerouting the rear brake hose after 18 month's.
