I hate the tough toms that came on my cube....they are draggy as hell on tarmac, not that comfortable and not tubeless ready....

So I want some 2.1” tyres that role well on tarmac, have some grip for towpaths that get a little muddy ( rural South Wales ) and tubeless...

What’s out there people...

Ps...29er

Decided to get a second rapid rob for the front to match the rear......still not tubeless, but could go ghetto if needed

There is a big ol tire thread on here with lots of info
I did look at that, but noticed they were mostly big tyres and treads.....wanted something more road/cx type tread, as I ride mostly tarmac with the odd muddy canal path

I’m not really a mtb’er....hence removing the forks on my cube acid and replacing with carbon, so it’s more a road going beast than a mud hugging brute

For riding mostly hardpack and tarmac I like Smart Sams they have a nice low rolling resistance, they just struggle when it gets muddy

my wife uses Schwalbe marathon plus tour which are good on the road and great on tow paths and loose gravel and very punture resistant

I put a set of Vittoria Revolutions with graphene on my analog 29 er hardtail commuter. I think they are 2.1’s. They roll really fast, good on gravel, and good in the wet.

I used schwalbe hurricanes on my hardtail for touring with a bit of easy dry off road . They did well very cheap and rolled lovely on tarmac

I nearly bought some road cruisers in 47mm earlier from bikester, then seen the conti tour rides in 47mm were 7 bucks a pop....so got them instead
