Here they are, our bikes. The green one is mine and the others belong to my sons. Upgrades are planned for this year.

2021 Scott Strike 920 XL

Love the bike, the range and power are unreal. I'm 6-3 and 210 lbs. nakkid and I put it in Turbo mode for long, steep climbs and it kicks butt! Now I do big climbs I would never even consider on my non-EMTB. I have 29" wheels front and rear and when I flipped the flip chip to the high mode the bike really came alive.

This is how Scott should have configure eGenius and eStrike in the factory. Genius has upgraded fork, 170mm ZEB ultimate and Strike gets the fork from its bigger sibling - Fox 36. Both bikes feel much better, less pedal strokes, better at going down and just as good in the corners. Still not as nimble and playful as Merida, but they’re very good at doing everything.

After plenty of research I decided to buy the Ransom eRIDE 910. I've had it wrapped, changed the fork decals and bought a few nice bits to finish it off. Its a beast, I love it! Pic taken at Cwmcarn, South Wales. Leave a comment if you have one 🤙

The bottle Cage bolds where installed wrong, so broke with the removing them. To repair That with drilling out, the electrical system was affected, so bike was send back to scott, there the Light cable was forgoten to be put back and twinloc handle was damaged. Thats now replaced with dt swiss handle. Last part is the fox fork thats full of grease in the airspring resulting a very harsh ride

did you ride as full 29 first and switch to mullet or always mullet?

I thought about doing mullet when i got my upgrade wheelset but i didnt cause i figured it im gonna have the long chainstay anyways i might as well get the roll over of the 29.

but im still curious about the mullet on the ransom, i need to find a 27 wheel at some point to test it

I stuck the 27.5 on straight away. I ride a specialized status that is mullet also. I’d never ride a full a 29er. The big wheel at the back has absolutely no benefits. Also When I’ve rode a friends 29er i always catch my arse on the back wheel

Sie Kotflügel vorne und hinten habe ich aus einem neuen Synchros Vorderschutzblech abgeändert, geteilt in zwei Stücke , zugeschnitten und montiert.

My wife‘s new Lumen eRide 900. She finally gave in and converted from her pushbike to this beautiful minimal assist eMTB.

Unfortunately, just after 2 km this happened

Dealer contacted Scott and they advised to swap out the display. New display is on its way and will be installed next week. The error is temperature related and only occurs above 20° C air temperature.

I've found the 29" wheels to roll more smoothly and with less wasted energy over roots and rocks and it works on both front and back wheels.

Is there anything involved with sticking a 27.5" on the rear ?. Is it just a matter of swapping the wheels, or do you need to change the flip chip thing too ? or on the computer set up or anything else tricky that I'd need a shop to do.

I picked up a cheap Hope pro 5 in an ebay auction without realizing it was 27.5". I was considering re-riming it with a 29er rim to match the front, but im in two minds as it would involve buying a new 29er rim, then having it built etc. Certainly be cheaper and far easier just to pop it on and run it as mullet.
