is it just me or are the LED colors wrong on the mode indicator. Blue for Eco, Green for trail and yellow for boost............ My issue is that when riding in most angles the green and yellow look the same. I cannot afford to break concentration enough to determine which color it really is. Why not have eco as Green, trail ans Blue and the Red or Yellow as Boost. this would solve it

It's good for me.
I just tilted the unit, so I can see the "orange/yellow" better.
Actually....I can feel what mode I'm in, so it's not that important for me....but nice to verify.

I don't understand the problem people have with this - I find it really simple and clear and have never felt the need for any more.

You have the battery LED as a reference right next to the mode - the other colours might not be blindingly clear seen by themselves but they're sufficiently different to the green next to them not to be confusing (for me at least). I'm not a big fan of the junction box itself - Orbea really should have done a simple top tube LED box (like specialised's) but maybe the cost would have been prohibitive

The difference in the colors is a little close, but not bad enough to be confusing. Maybe see an eye doc and get your color vision checked. 10% of all males have some degree of color vision deficiency, not "color blind", (that is extremely rare) but just difficulty differentiating some colors....or just ride and forget about it. I have a Garmin that tells me what mode I'm in, but I can almost always tell just by the response of the bike.

Yeah, I'm "color challenged," and have the same problem with the Shimano EM800 display. If I look closely, I can see the words, but just glancing at the colors doesn't do it for me.

I had been wondering whether it's a slight colourblindness issue.

I use a Garmin Edge 130 but only occasional flick to the 'ebike' screen I've got. The mode seems a bit unreliable at keeping up to date, sometimes displays the wrong mode for quite some time - is it the same with the official Orbea app?

Did you get the edge 130 to work with the ebike? How?

strange, my 130 could not find the ebike, so i didnt get it working. Bought a 530 instead and works fine. but the size of the 130 was much better for enduro riding. so to answer your question, no, with the rs app all works great.
