Late hello from Annecy

I joined a week ago and just realised I missed this part. I’m fairly new to ebikes and forums. I bought a Canyon Spectral:On in April, so far so good. If anyone’s in the area give me a shout, I ride analog bikes too.

Thanks, yes I can’t complain too much. The locals seem to have gone ebike crazy, so I thought I should join the party.

I lived in the Haute Tarentaise for 3 years around the millennium, living life as a ski bum, but spent a fair few day trips cycling around the Lake.

Brilliant, I’m sure Haute Tarentaise was no hardship, it’s a great area summer and winter. Shame there wasn’t ebikes in 000’s!

I ordered the yellow originally, I though the black might be a bit boring, but they kept moving the delivery date, in the end I got so fed up with them I swapped to the black. I wasn’t 100% on it when it turned up, but i’ve got used to it now.

Wife's family is in Thonon! I almost never go there but now that I have this emtb things might change Especially if I found some experienced rider to lead the rides and drop some knowledge on me.

Nice, that’s a serious collection! I’ve only got one more in black, the rest have colour...although I’m dropping heavy hints I can’t get through this winter without Cotic Solaris and would be in black too.

Those aren't anywhere near all my bikes, I've another completely murdered out old skool dirt jump BMX (I couldn't find a pic of) and another 6 bikes that aren't black

You should definitely ride next time you’re over, Thonon is only 35k from Morzine and there’s masses of brilliant riding over there for any ability, lots of it‘s graded trails too. Give me a shout.

Nearly, it’s the Torque CF, more travel, minus the bottle cage . It’s a nice machine, I nearly went 29er this year, but a test ride in a bike park left me with a massive grin, so I couldn’t resist.

Love this pic, view back to Mont Blanc, Midi and Les Grands Montets is one I never get tired of. Love Cham, have spent a lot of time there in both summer and winter
