The bosch battery bodge
After having to abandon the odd ride and once riding 6 miles without power, I started looking on the bay of thieves for a 500w power tube battery pack as an extender for my 625.
Now as I have a gen 2 bike and 3 batteries I started fiddling.
After a fair bit of sawdust my plan worked out brilliant
The electric connecter bracket was removed and replaced with a piece of wood and some dence foam to the same height.
This allows the 625 to fit as normal.
Next is a second piece of wood and dence foam that just sits on top for the 500 to fit.
The 500 fits 90% into the downtube and a large Velcro strap keeps everything happy.
The neoprene cover is something I use a lot normally anyway.
So depending on the ride I have a load of battery options to choose from
