As Rob said, would you even notice seeing as the frame hasn't changed in nearly 2.5 years, why not buy the reduced first edition?

How’s the new bike fodmtb ?
I’m toying with either a 24 sl expert or 24 ff expert , can get a full ride2work voucher so nearly half price !! Head scratch 🤔
Bikes great thanks.
Definitely try go and demo the SL's or FF's you are interested in if. They both offer different experiences. I used to ride FF by like SL these days. Just person prefernce .

I’d love both , the thing is I’m happy atm with the 2020 29er ff BUT with a r2w discount and selling the ff the cost of the sl expert is pretty sweet . There’s no proper comparison reviews on it yet so will wait and see !

Very happy after a few weeks on the new KSL2 . I am happy with the improved 1.2 motor and had no issues on the weekend with the additional power and maintaining the existing 320wh battery.

Winter tyres t9 hillbilly & rear t9 cannibal
all off-piste and pretty muddy FoD
20miles
800 meters
internal battery only
mainly trail mode and micro tune
avg speed 8.6mph
14st rider weight

need not worry about the battery still being too small.

I got 30 odd miles out of my Levo SL using micro tune and RE. Micro tune is def a great advantage for managing battery.
