Here we go then , Ive read that owners are not impressed by the quality of the roval rims on their bikes , I like to make my own opinion because many owner ride their bikes hard ! E.g. Go on lots of d/h tracked big jump etc I bloody 55 now .BUT Ive had mine only 3 weeks and only as many short rides getting used to a different bike I've done a few drops about a foot high and that's it . On Friday I wiped over bike to keep that clean look and there on rear wheel was ding not sure how it happened but like I said I haven't ridden it hard . The tyre pressures were good and the bike was sold and set up by Berkshire Turbo so no pointing finger at dealer . Have I got any claim on warranty from Specialized? What happened to any owners on this site who contacted Specialized customer support? Your replies will be greatfully be received .

I rode my Kenevo on some pretty gnarly tracks and never had an issue. I never dropped pressures below 22psi and I’ve had many failed jumps, casings, crashes. Rims are scratched up but nothing bent. Rear hubs on the other hand, I have gone through two stock hubs. Replaced under warranty with the last replacement being a Dt Swiss hub courtesy of my Specialized dealer.
Having now upgraded to another aftermarket brand I realise how rubbish the stock components are.
My experiences anyway.

Don't think rims are covered by warranty, they are wear and tear.

Fwiw, I've beaten the crap out of my kenevo rims and they're still round.

literally had enough with the OE Rovals, bearings after 20 rides, freehub bearings in 6 months, freehub pawls shattered, snapped spokes etc - i dont ride too hard, not hard enough to ever have broken any other wheel ive ever owned in 15 years of riding.

Just got some Hope Fortus 35's and taking the Rovals back to Evans Cycles where i bought the bike from for replacement.

So can they be exchanged?

Evans are going to review the damage and take it up with Specialized, they said they're going to repair them for me in the meantime. I'll just keep them built up ready to put on the bike when I sell it and keep tthem for when I eventually sell it. I have heard that they have been replaced for DT Swiss wheels previously.

Honestly it's been every ride I've had wheel issues for the last 2 months, puts me off riding it sometimes.
