Kenevo Gen1 Kenevo expert dual crown to single crown help

I own a 2021 Kenevo expert and I exchanged my dual crown boxxer fork for a 27.5 fox 38 with 180mm travel. My question is, does that change my reach at all? It might just be me overthinking it but my reach feels a lot shorter than when I had the dual crown on… I have a 35mm stem with 3 spacers underneath it.
Also I have ordered a 180mm zeb 29er to replace my fox 38. Will that change my reach at all too?
Thanks!

Stack height will be higher with the 38 and even higher with the 29er. Higher stack = shorter reach.
Also higher stack = less front end grip.
Take some spacers out to get some of your reach back, but you will still have less front end weight and grip.
stock stem is 45mm too.

Do you think putting a 50mm stem and taking a couple stem spacers out solve the reach and stack height when I put the zeb on?

Yes for your position and hands, but not for the rake of the bike. I would 100% switch to the high chip position on the shock.

The higher you make the font the less weight it will have on the front tire while standing on the pedals.

@Alexbn921 is correct - the dual crown 180mm Boxxer has IIRC a lower A to C than the single crown 180mm 38, and when you fit the 180mm 29 Zeb the A to C will be even more.

As such you are shortening the effective reach by swapping out the forks.Slamming the stem, longer stem, and bar rise can mitigate this, though obviously a longer stem also affects the handling.

I’m what way would the 50mm stem effect my handling?

What length stems are you guys riding with the single crown 180’s? List what wheel size. I’m moving to an avy’d ZEB 180 27.5 with hybrid coil. Coming from the boxxer. I’m thinking a 30mm A318 industry nine.
