I use a lanyard just in case it comes off, not to stop it coming off.

I have a lanyard but even over the roughest or highest jumps i do its never left the holder .

As I’m not likely to do any big jumps mine is probably never going to fly off, in fact there’s probably more chance of me crashing I use a bump surround and lanyard for all eventualities

It’s not so much the jumps and bumps…it’s the tree limbs, brush and unsuspecting OTB. That’s the only time my Kiox leaves the magnetic holder.

It’s Realzzz Man!
I replaced my Purion with the Kiox shortly after I purchased the bike. The Purion now acts as a spare, but it’s been collecting dust for almost 4 years now.

I forgot to mention that I have have a lanyard for my Garmin and my Kiox, I could loose my head if it wasn’t screwed on though
