I've got a Focus Jam2 and a Paralene roadie (old school -> user powered only!) and the quality of both is excellent, no issues with either. LBS has their own agenda.
No issues with my frame , well designed, well painted good welding.
Nice compact suspension design, charging point up out of harms way and plenty of room for a water bottle.
The Jam2 is an overall nice trail bike within a good price range.
Guess he's trying to push something he wants to get get rid off.
Would that be the Trek with the old motor?
I've never seen one on the trails and they don't seem to be talked about on here, so i guess that may indicate how popular they are?
Mega bikE and i use it for everything from bike parks to full on dh. It annoys me it's so good at everything I have thrown at it I want an excuse for NEW BIKE and I can't find one ?
Mine's been down a few mountainsides, sometimes with me a few metres behind it, and seems to be strong as an ox. I doubt german manufacturers would mess around with structural integrity.
