Im sure this has been beaten to death but im finally doing this and thinking of using the volspeed gen 4, is that the best one or is there a better option? My main criteria is ease of use without being detected(which is probably everyone elses lol). Top speed isnt a concern as anything over the 32kmhr will be awesome

Chances are in 99% of situations, nobody would notice the extra speed, but in the event of an accident, you're setting yourself up for a bit of a legal hammering.
What happens in the event of an accident involving a pedestrian. you can be the greatest most aware rider on earth, but pedestrians have a habit of stepping out in front of us(and cars,buses etc) and in the event of an accident and as it would likely be found at that point that youre riding an illegally modified bike, they'll really throw the book at you and any sentencing could be maximized.
Plus even if its a pedestrian stepping out face buried in their iphone, it is you who gets the entirety of the blame. Even if you've upped it from 32 to 35, its still an illegal modification and the law comes down heavier on that type of thing.
Now its not just getting a large fine, upped because of the modification, but if the pedestrian is seriously injured you could well be looking at jail time.

So modify if you wish. Nobody can stop you doing so if you want to, but always be aware that if you do, there could well be serious consequences.
