Is wheather heat a problem for e-bikes ?

It is 31C° (87,8 F°) here where i live right now , can it be a problem if i take a ride or should the motor handle that heat.

is just a little curious if it can in any way damage the engine?

I think some motor if not all have a temp sensor that throttles or deactivates the motor if it gets too hot.

When the temperature is 31 C there no problem

I find once it gets over about 40 c either the motor or rider dislikes long hills....anything over about 800 m elevation gain at those temperatures something starts to whine. It might be me?

Thanks for all the answer now i know and so not need to think about that anymoore .

I did a ride today in this hot wheather with some climbs and no error codes or different sound from motor .
