Wheel.base on IG posted this patent from specialized and it sure looks like the new Kenevo, or an e-Demo…. I was in a dilemma as to which bike to get, a Gen3 Levo or Kenevo SL… looks like it may be worth the wait for this rig if/when it comes out!

Looks like a KSL, but the motor size looks full power, not the smaller SL. And there are two pivot points on top of the motor. Good point though, could be the new KSL

I'm not trying to be a jerk (although I may be good at it!), but I'm wondering what you see in that drawing? The perfect tradeoff of anti-squat, anti-dive, chain growth, and progressivity? If so, I'm hugely impressed. I'd have to plug the link measurements into something like Linkage to work all that out.

If it's not that analytical, what are you seeing that's attractive? I'm sincerely curious.

Looks like a full powered Demo or Enduro type frame to me. I guess that is attractive to me…. Each to their own I guess…

I don’t understand. Looking at my KSL which I am now all the pivot points are in the same place and the motor is identical down to the ridges in the motor cover? The new KSL is the old KSL. 🤷‍♂️

I don't have a KSL, but a FFK, so am probably just jealous. :D

I’ll clarify. I circled the two lower pivot mounts, they are like a short link which is supposed to support the weight of the motor/BB better than current designs. So it is not a single lower pivot, the lower pivot is more like a DW link or VPP that can arc as the suspension compresses…. It may come out, it may not. It would be great to see an ew Kenevo based off the KSL frame….

The right hand bolt you have marked is a motor mount, not pivot.

As Doom said, ones a pivot and ones a motor mount.
Highly doubt you will see a full powered KSL, at best you may be able to squeeze the higher output 50nm Mahle but even that will push it. There just isn’t enough room.
