Unanswered Is this air in my oil (shock)?

Are you on a PC? Very audible. It's brand new. Just installed it.

Can barely hear anything on my phone, but all I think I hear is the rebound dampening as the shock extends?

What's the dimple? I'm hearing it right at the top of the stroke, from full extension. In both directions.

I believe thats the one.
I have never had a working deluxe/super deluxe that didn't make that sound when compressed slightly.
