Is shimano sc-mt800 display compatible with sc-em8000 ?

My shimano sc-em8000 display has died and I can only find a sc-mt800 to replace it, will it work ok?

No it won’t work unfortunately, as it is just for Di2 gear info.

You could use the SC-E7000 display but it is just black and white, and you would need to change some wire connectors, and add adapters.

Staying with another SC-EM800 will definitely be easiest
