Just leaving to pick up my Levo comp in black up today from specialized Chester should I get the bike wrapped before I use it or just ride it?

Just try and stop yourself riding it......you won’t be able too....RIDE-RIDE-RIDE
What does it matter if you scratch it ..... it’s a mountain bike......ENJOY ?

Mine came partly wrapped out of the box. Got a complete Invisiframe put on by the shop before they even started to build it.

Loads of info and questions like this already on the forum.

It really is down to how bothered you are about general wear and tear.

Invsiframe will reduce it, but not prevent it.

It's new- clean and cost a lot of money. It's a MTB so go get it dirty and enjoy it then clean it.spend the money on some upgrades...

Have to agree with you. I do however think the ‘film’ makes it easier to clean.

I got mine invsiframed from new and i would do it again.

OK, i'll own up, wish i'd given mine a bit of film, But it was either that or new pedals and body armour ( one of the wife's conditions)

I´ve invisiframed all of my bikes (I do some vinyl foil work as a side business as well) an the thing is that the film is insanely strong. The Xpell-foil is also self healing. If it scratches up, put hot water on it and it goes back to pristine.

I would say that it is close to a must on carbon bikes where damages can escalate. It takes a bit of concentration when you put it on, and you also have to do it in a heated room. If it´s to cold (sub 15c) you could be struggling with the adhesive.

But Invisiframe IS expensive as it is premium.
