Currently sat in a B&B in Machynlleth after completing the 3 day, 100 mile Trans Cambrian Way solo! Can't find anything on You Tube apart from those guys who've done it on acoustic bikes and in groups (Respect is due to those guys) so I'm having it as my own worlds first. Once I get home I'll set about putting the 3 videos together, one for each day in the hope it will inspire other eee'Bers to give it a go. Set off on the 15th of Oct and finished today at 4pm. A totally epic ride, not a sole around and autumn made it spectacular. Mid Wales, a hidden gem!!

When I get home, I'll stick a post up with all the details. Bike set up, kit I took (Pros & Cons), route info and overnight accommodation etc. Vids will take a while cos there's loads of footage and stills to sort through but as and when I complete each one I'll be sure to post the You Tube links. Used my new Gopro 7 Black. Checked vids on playback and I have to say, stabilisation looks the business!! Keep the faith eee'Bers, your NEVER too old ???

Great work! We have a trail here you would like it is called the cowboy trail and is 574kms long so might take a little longer :)

true that. You can claim he’s a chip off the ol block?
Hopefully he’s out west scouting some possible long emtb routes for you and him. Can only imagine the possibilities

Sounds like an epic (E-pic?) ride!
Not wishing to enter a pssing contest, but we have the Munda Biddi Trail which is over 1000km (620 miles) long, so get your holidays planned! Apparently some nutter did it in 4 days on a regular mountain bike. Yep, 250km a day!
One day I’ll do it, have just done the first bit so far.

He spent a year in Whistler, working then out his from door, onto chairlift to the top of the trails with his giant glory dh rig then in winter the same but with a snowboard, could go from the top to his front door!!! How cools that

Well done.
Look forward to videos. This is something I would like to do. Would be good craic with a few mtbrs.

Maybe next year, spring, summer .
I'll be there again next autumn on my own again, not to be anti social, its just the solitude in a forgotten gem of a place and the autumn colours make it beautiful. I've put all the info in 'General Forums', pdf so all downloadable ?

Great Video ONB! Might just have to try that trip one day!
Your rear mudguard is the neatest I've ever seen........what make is it please?
It really is a must do ride! Wait till you see video 2, day 2, much nicer scenery and is being uploaded to You Tube as I type. Will out it as a new thread in newbies. The mudguards are both Mudhugger FRs with the extension fitted. Normal MTB rear guards look ridiculous, why no one has ever realised that yet. Anyway, a front guard on the rear looks the biz. Just fasten as you would the front. The standard 3.0 tyres work with it but if Haibike moved the stay brace up 5 mm or so it would be perfect....... You reading this Haibike? ?
