Hey all, im new to E-Bikes and recently bought one used. But i can't for the life of me find out the exact frame it has. Any help would be greatly appreciated! :)
I also have another question. I'm using a Shimano DU-E6001 drive unit and a Shimano BT-E6010 battery. I can't decide which display i should go for though. The EC-E6000 /E6002 or E8005? (I beleive these are the ones compatible). Or are there any other better displays from other manufacturers?

Thanks again for taking the time to answer :)

Post the frame number and we can look it up in the database. It should be stamped into the frame under the motor or maybe near the rear hub.

Apart from unscrewing the drive unit i checked the whole frame.
There doesnt seem to be one (chances are im just blind)
but also no evidence it's been filed away. I did find out it's produced by BIKE FUN international though. I will check their bikes and see. Thanks for replying :)

Could be a Rockmachine.

Am I correct in that you bought it without a head unit on the bars?

Yes that's correct, I bought it fairly cheap 'As is', just missing the display unit. It does certainly look a lot like some of the Rock Machine models. Thanks for replying :)

I doo ok my want to be ‘that person’ but purchased without the head unit, no frame number visible and a bike covered in spray paint looks dodgy as hell!!!
I had the exact same thought when i bought it, then i noticed the manufacturer was 'Bike Fun International', which is based in the Czech Republic, so I figure it's likely i knockoff. Maybe i should contact the manufacturer and ask them where the frame number is.
I will of coarse give it an awesome new paint job. Thanks for your input :)

I suspect you have bought a stolen bike.

A legit seller would have included the head unit and charger.

I have my suspicions too. Weird that i can't find any trace of a frame nr, but I did get keys for the battery. Seeing as the frame is by Bike Fun international in the Czech Republic is it possible its a knock off? If so do knock offs have frame nrs? Hard to confirm anything without one, maybe i'll just scrap it for parts.

I don't think it's a knock-off, just one of many manufacturers using Shimano gear to build up a bike. Rockmachine appears to be one of the brands that Bike Fun produce.
