hope someone can help, took rear wheel off and pushed the lock button on derailed to hold chain for easy wheel removal.
now can't seem to get it to unlock. Sram on 2018 Levo Comp Carbon. thanks in advance
Push the back of the cage behind the lower jockey wheel in the direction of the front of the bike until the button pops out then whilst still maintaining pressure on the cage let it swing back until the chain tension returns to normal.
Try what Geoff said and while holding it forward try and get a small screw driver in from the back to push the button back out also some lube around the button but be careful not to spray near your discs
thanks for advice, I went to bed, now early next day I was thinking I'll spray WD40 to free it up, as might have dust making the pin stiff to release.
Mike it's very useful when removing rear wheel it has a lock marked on a button, push derailed forward push button and it holds it.
All ok, wd40 left over night, hold gear closest to axle & push lower Sproket forward like has been mentioned and springs out easy. just need to keep clean.
