After years of persuasion my cycling buddy has decided to buy a full suss EMTB and has asked me to make suggestions!!!. BUT he also road rides with his wife so I guess he should have a Hybrid .....So far I have found Moustache Samedi ( which he likes) and Cube Stereo Hybrid ..........are there any others ??
Must be dealer supplied not net faceless
Thanks all

I'd say any EMTB can be ridden on roads ... I'm not sure what a "hybrid" is really. I thought it used to refer to a road bike but with flat handlebars. Maybe a trail specced EMTB would work?

An EMTB will just feel heavy, and be draggy above the assist limit, but you can put faster rolling tyres on it. And the suspension isn't optimal but you can lock it out. He won't go as fast as on a road bike - so depends if that is important. What sort of speeds would he want on the road?

I'd buy an EMTB for what you want to do off road, and then it will just work on the roads as well.

There are crossovers now, I’ve got a Trek Allant 9.9, a rigid carbon 27.5 ebike, I mostly use it to commute but have a spare pair of wheels with off-road tyres, and a set of Pikes which are a half hour swapout to turn it into a bike that’s ok for light trail.
Riese & Muller’s Delite seems to be aimed at a similar market, and the EQ Trek Powerflys

That may be so but at any given moment it's either a mountain bike or it's not. I'm not being serious, it's just a play on words and light hearted banter.

If you take a rigid fat to a rider it might be like an hybrid but with different tires to an other rider it might be a mountain bike.
