how to promote Insta accounts

I've started a new Insta account, nothing to do with bikes, its about bread making.
What tips do you have for 'getting it out there'?

If existing followers 'like' or comment on one of my posts, does it appear on their feed for others to see or do they need to share it in some way?

A good start is "you do me, i'll do you"

Using that logic, i'll follow you

My lads is @weeksy08 and yes it's all MTB related.

A lot of people pick a similar genre and then 'follow' all of the likers, like 200 at a time. Then as you follow them, they'll often refollow you to get more on their side... I think Insta get a bit frowny if you do it too often though

Reels seem to get a lot more push from Instagram as they try and keep up with Tiktok. Make sure you use plenty of popular hashtags to get found by people who set alerts. You can also be cheeky, bake some bread with a superbowl theme and ride that wave of traffic.
Encourage people to comment and respond if you can.
