Hi guys my wife really wants something on the bars to tell her how far she has ridden and what battery she has left ect now I know the Specialized turbo connect display isn't brilliant but I recently bought a Garmin 130 for her and had to return them all as they were broken!

So maybe this unit might be better but how do you link it up to work with the bike is there a video around that shows you what to do, am i right in thinking you have to remove the on/off switch on the crossbar?

Thanks

You could get a Garmin 520 or 520+ at a very good prize and they are some of the best and most stable product from Garnin. The Specialized display is not the best and by feedback it has issues displaying the right information from the bike.

Ahh ok I didn't know that but I bought the new Garmin 130 for her and when I got it the unit was dead so i sent it back and got another one and that was dead as well! So I got a third which worked but it wasn't displaying the right information and on a 44 mile ride it showed 40 miles so I sent that back as well :)

I don't really want a cateye as I don't like the sensor zip tied to the forks!

Andy if you get the 520 or newer with the wireless speed sensor, it takes around 1 km with clear view to the satellites and its calibrated forever. You can set up a really simple screen for her with only the information you need. Furthermore you can add the ebike field so you also get the battery status and mode of your Levo.
