How long does it take to charge a 72 Volt Lithium Battery?

Had a brand new battery installed in my Energy Motion Ocean e-moto that replaced the 6 12 volt GEL batteries. They tell me that the charger will automatically stop charging when the battery is full. Not sure how much I trust them or the charger since it never "automatically" stopped charging on the GEL batteries but that might have been because they where very old and could no longer fully charge?

there will be many factors, how empty is the battery, how large is the battery (capacity) and what is the charge rate of your charger? I would perfer a charger that showed me the current voltage and charge rate.....

30 ah , the charger is 6 amp

Around 5 hours though ideally you 'd charge to 50% after your ride then to 100% before your next ride.

I would perfer a charger that showed me the current voltage and charge rate.....

Yes it’s a XLR to right angle Rosenberger Adapter (straight Rosenberger would’ve been better since the original one is straight) & TRS Cable. That’s for connecting to a PC or Mac to create profiles like lower SOC & current so your battery will last much longer. Ironically using any 3rd party charger will void your warranty so I guess it depends how much warranty you have remaining.

Obviously don’t attempt an 8A fast charge or somehow set the wrong voltage.?
