Only the frame, battery, seatpost and brakes are original on my Esommet (and front caliper is a Magura) so what have you changed on yours ?

Did the new air spring make a noticeable difference? My forks will need a service soon and I'm thinking of dropping the travel back to 170mm

Yes it made a difference because the old spring was somehow defective. The new one sits higher in the travel and doesn't have travel loss

Covered the ugly green paint with black carbon vinyl.
Blocked/sealed the poor motor sealing.
Changed drivetrain to 36t ring 11-36 10 speed deore cassette/zee mech&shifter
Fitted a 170mm dropper.
Removed display and replaced with EN-EW100
Tubeless exos.
Mudguards. Garmin and light/GoPro bar/stem mounts
Fitted saddle, pedals and grips to pref choice (as with all bikes)

I have left from original:

Frame (with black pivot hardwear)
Shock (with megneg)
Forks (with 2021 air spring)
Brakes (with different rotors)

That's it! Such a saddo I've even spent hours hand cutting stickers for the rims....

I basically had everything for full build minus frame so when bike came straight in stand, wheeels, bar, stem & grips & shifter came off had a 10speed Saint shifter as my Vitus is base model
Put own wheels on as build all my own
Joystick stem & bar
Deathgrips
Removed forks put on some custom devilles so could ride whilst I did a Smashpot conversion on forks
After year riding have now gone 11speed & mullet with manitou Mezzer fork
brakes are MT5 with Fabio levers
