Not meant to be punny 🤮 - lol

I want to know...what size rotors are you running on your Crestline? I decided to start on 200's with the Mavens but am considering the jump to 220 in the front (yes, 203 is the max in the rear). Anyone running the the Maven 220 combo?

Ok, so it looks like I'm going to be diving into the deep end solo yet again...

Went ahead and added a new set of Hope rotors today, moving up to 220 in the front but stayed with a 200 in the rear.

Decided to try Hope's semi-floating rotors in the hope that they will handle the heat better than the SRAM rotors I was rocking with the Mavens previously. They do seem to do a good job of dissipating the heat based on some simple testing during the bedding process. Plus they just look cooler than the blah HS2s.

The 220 upfront is definitely a bit more spicy...looking forward to cooking it up on my Sunday ride.

I use a 220mm on the front and a 200mm on the rear and find it to be a balanced set up with Mavens. Since 70+% of braking is done on the front, I will always end up breaking lose or locking up on the rear so aside from my tendency to drag my rear brake all too often, my Icetech rotor still gets over heated even with metallic brake pads. YMMV.

I have 220/200 with Hope V4s. Works really well, spent 3 days in the bike park last weekend and they were great all weekend.

We (wife and I) have 2022 alloy Trek Rails with 220mm Swissstop Catalyst Pro 6 bolt rotors front and rear. Shimano 4 piston calipers with D03S pads. Faultless.

220 with XT both ends. Heard the stuff about them getting hot on descents so one day after jumping down through the woods went to myself “do they actually get hot then?” Touched the rotor and got burned. Big rotors = quick stopping.

I run 223/203 on my Crestline with trinity's with trickstuff power pads up front and stock intend pads in the rear. Tbh the only reason I went with the big front rotor is so the caliper cleared the spokes up front 🤦. Do appreciate the bigger rotor though.
