Hi everybody

does any of you know if such stuff is available on the market, whether from Hope or somebody else?
I do love the superfine precision of Hope brakes but, you know, they are not superpowerful at all, so the effort at the finger is higher than the average.
My last ebike was equipped with a superb Magura MT7 2fingers lever set, and it was brilliant: extreme brake power with a very few finger effort.

By using with one finger a 2 finger lever would give me extra lenght to have a bigger output with the same finger effort

Thanks for helping

I run Hopes, love them. I think they are still a powerful brake, its just that they are designed to have lots of modulation, so it may be towards the end of the lever stroke that they fully bite. It's all in how you set them up. If they're bled properly, there's plenty of adjustment for bite point and lever throw. Different pads will yield different results as well. The levers are actually longer than the shimanos on my other bike, you probably could 2 finger brake with them, but you shouldn't need to.

I confirm any word you wrote
Once bleeded, they are supersensistive to any setup, and this is great, absolutely great.
They're perfect for all those situations when you have to slightly modulate the brakes
This is stuff we already know.

My point is the high force I have to use with my finger to achieve the maximum power (e.g. a nose press). In this case, other brakes are better; I'm not talking of PURE POWER (they are aligned with the other market players), rather than the ratio between power and "finger-force"
I'm also using excellent pads (CL Vrx) that significantly improves the output, but to still improve this ratio I need longer levers, so that the force transmitted to the pump piston will be more with equal "finger-force" (and, at the contrary, the fingerforce will be less with equal force at the pump)

I dislike Shimano levers: too short

There are two possibilities for more leverage 1. longer brake lever 2. larger rotor. Can you fit larger rotors?

Don't misunderstanding me, please
I'm totally happy of my brakes
I just would like to decrease the force to be used

I found out the duo, and sincerely they seem to be exactly what I'm looking for.
But...
My only doubt is if the longer lever can fit the standard Tech3 pump body. In short, may I replace "bolt-on" the standard (shorter) lever with the Duo longer lever in a standard Tech 3 pump?
If so, I probably fix my issue
(and many thanks for the suggestion)

EDIT: found the exploded view in tech corner of Hope website.
YES, they fit !!! :)
I can't wait to do the experiment

Stay tuned
