Hire or buy Powertube batteries in Christchurch NZ ?

Hi all, Does anyone have experience of hiring or buying Bosch powertube batteries in Christchurch New Zealand. I need to hire (or buy) a 625 & a 750wh powertube (2 sep. bikes) for a holiday in early '24. Any recommendations or tales of woe appreciated. Thanks W.

Hi, no replies so here's what I discovered for anyone else stuck similarly...
I pursued this with Bosch NZ and Dan from their eBike Customer Support ([email protected]) was very helpful and recommended one of these ChCh dealers, who can hire powertube batteries:

Sorry didn't see this sooner as I'm in Christchurch. I think you'll struggle to hire a 750wh but I maybe wrong...?

I think Bosch head office is in chch.

An 750wh battery is $1800nzd and the 650 might be a couple of hundy less.

If you end up buying, i might be keen on the 750hw if its the same type as my Pole. I think mine is 750hw smart system battery with vertical plug.

Update: Both Scotty Browns and GOAT have emailed positively re purchase of both 625 & 750 (for mid-February'24); and Scotty Browns have specifically said they will get a 750 for hire (which they dont yet have) by Feb'24.
BASIC have not yet replied.

My Cube Stereo Hybrid uses the 'horizontal' style unfortunately, otherwise I would seriously consider it. You can tell for sure by looking at the battery model no. on the battery (model info from Bosch):
* the 750Wh horizontal is EB1210000X; whereas
* the 750Wh vertical is EB1210000W.
For completeness & anyone else:
* the 625Wh horizontal is 0275007543; whereas
* the 625Wh vertical is 0275007544.

I'm going to Tassie at the end of Nov. In the end i decided to take the MTB instead. I couldnt bring myself to hire a battery for $500 for 10 days....
