On purchasing a Rockshox Vivid Ultimate rear shock. What do the 8x30, 8x36, 8x40 etc numbers mean?....is this this eyelet bearings that come installed? If so, these can be swapped out, correct?

Thx for the reply/ info....so with that said, If I order one that says 8x36 and later I find out I need 8x30, I can just swapped out bushings/bolt to 8x30?

Yes they can be swapped out with the correct tools...
