I am Alex from Seattle.

I have had a handful of commuter ebikes over the past decade, watching the eMTBs improve over that time. They got there, in my opinion, last year. I got a Norco Range VLT in March.

Sold my DH bike soon thereafter and my trail bike by mid-April. Thought I'd give full-on eMTB life a shot for the virus-compromised Summer of 2020 and it's been a resounding success.

I'm 1200 miles in and I haven't felt even a twinge of desire to ride one of those old pedal bikes in a long time.

Looks like this is the main spot for eMTB discussion, so I'm here!

Yeah, I'm debating whether to sell my old DH bike, trail bike, or both. Only ride my Kenevo and road bike all year and imagine it will be that way for at least awhile. Will probably keep my DH bike for shuttling with friends or going to lift assist bike parks since it's not worth much anyways.

What type of trails are you riding up there?

pretty typical PNW stuff. steeper, rocky, and rooty. wet. lots of steep fire road climbs to raw trails down, with some machine-built swoopers thrown in for good measure.

a couple hundred more miles on the odo since visiting these forums, and yeah: still not missing the trail bike (Nomad) at all. I do wish I could've got across the border to ride some DH bikes at Whistler, but that's out of my hands I guess.
