Hi got a second hand Flyon 5.0 8 speed , skipping chain

So got a new cassette new chain 121 links as the one on the bike is same length ,still skipping , Help

Did you check the b-tension screw if it's adjusted correctly?
Is the quicklink in good direction?

Also check to see that the chain is the proper length? The one that was on it could have been wrong. Plenty of YT vids on that procedure.

You don't indicate which gears are skipping but I assume it is the higher cogs? Usually occurs when the system is at its slackest I've found? It helps to have as much tension on the derailleur as possible in the smallest cog and still be able to get into your largest cog.
