You have to be careful because once you ride a FS eMTB on gravel you may kick your Topstone to the curb. Sacrilege I know and you need one that is able to power on after 20mph but way more fun, fast, secure and way less stress about flatting especially on the varying grades of gravel found here in the PNW? At least that has been my experience after riding drop bar rigid e gravel assist previously for 4 years here in the OR.

Bonus is when you see a trail you can have at it as well.

Here’s what I did; Sold the Cervélo and Norco gravel bikes. They were great for the road but after several OTB on seemingly tame gravel trails, I had enough. The beginning of the mountain was a barrier until I got a Full Suspension. Now I go wherever I want too.
A spare set of properly textured tires is nice to have also if we plan on riding the flats for a while. Lock out the shock and Boom…I have a hardtail.
