Hi everyone,

Got my very first electric bike for my daily commute.

Trek PowerFly 5 Class 3, the police model with rack and Schwalbe G-One Allround Performance, 29x2.25”.

I have been commuting by car for years and the only thing that was preventing me from switching to "bike to work" on every day basis was the 1500 feet elevation gain I have to go through 5 days a week.

In the old days it would take me 45 minutes to ride it on my regular mountain bike.
I am a happy camper now, on my new electric beast it only take me 25 minutes with no sweat and it is really fun to ride!

Shoes did not cover it. Had to sell socks too

The fire roads in Forest Park are way fun on an eBike also, climb up to Skyline and come zooming back down the pavé, too much fun. I just moved to the coast from Sauvie's, worked in the city and commuted on my eRoad Bike. PDX is a great place for eBikes.
