Well have you narrowed it down to some Finalist?

The kenevo expert has caught my eye the most although I’ve not tried one yet. I’ve ridden a spectral on the trails and a cube stereo action team at the show. Fancy with one longer travel as I was tempted with a dh rig until I rode a EMTB that’s my reasoning for being so tempted with a kenevo. The only thing holding me off is it having a total revamp next year?

For me it's got to be the Lapierre e zesty. It's about 18kg, looks great, plus being fazua you can remove battery and motor and turn into normal bike.

Check out the Emtb forums videos on YouTube. Rob got to see one in person recently.

* Plus by then spesh should've sorted out their shit with stock and motors.

So this bikes USP is it it weight but why is the rear shock stanchion exposed to the mud and rocks that will hit it? So thats a bad frame design and starts making me think about the frame designers not know what is important on the MTB bike! at very least they should include a neoprene sock cover for the stanchion, but for me I would walk away from that as better frame designs are available, unless this is dirt cheap like £2K

The e zesty looks mint but ive read that it’s a small battery and motor. I agree the shock positioning looks like it could be damaged easily.

What’s wrong with the spesh equipment?

Look where Cdale put my rear shock, and with the mud guard the shock and link and pivots stay mud free - just dusty on dry trails, but on the pivot near the cranks I have paint chips already in just 260miles - but I am not bothered about them - but what caused those paint chips would have ruined the shock on the Zesty! Also I live 200 miles further south to Derby.

Nothing that other bike manufacturers don't have! Spesh sold allot more emtb's and of course there would be allot more talk about them, good or bad.
I have a 2018 Kenevo expert and I love it. Completely wasted on me as I'm really an int rider, but hey why not ;)
Good luck.
