Hey, from South East Wales!

Good afternoon all, I'm Ellis. I'm 27 and about 3 months ago I bought myself a Merida eOne Sixty 5000. I love it. I've spent most afternoons out and around my local area. I've been working my way up trying to overcome the fear of riding the gnarly stuff my friends all ride, but for now I'm looking for likewise people who'll ride what I'm capable of ?

I ride blues with ease, I can ride some easier reds but I prefer a mix of XC with a blues trail here and there. I'm free after 4pm daily and every day on the weekend, I'm happy to travel a few miles to ride too.

I'm from pontypool, there's lots to ride around here but I'm yet to find anyone in my skillset to ride with.

Please dont take this the wrong way..but if you really want to improve then dont go looking for people with a similar skillset to your own ..try riding with folks who are better than you ..namely the mates you have who you currently look up to ..
Better still try and find somewhere that offers coaching ..a few sessions will bring your skills on a lot further than years of bimbling around with people of your own ability ..you've spent a lot of money buying your bike ..so spend a little more on expert tuition to get the most out of it ..

Helpful advice and I see where you're coming from, Its just they're only into downhill where as I'm looking for someone who's more into adventure and going exploring ?

Yeah I've had a Google and a look around but I can't seem to find any local eBike specific clubs around my area. I know I'm not looking in the right places, but I have no idea where to look haha!

You might struggle to find ebike specific clubs ..but may have more success trying mtb clubs who have ebike riders within their ranks

look for facebook groups in your area bud.
im a bit too far out near Llandovery but theres plenty of people down near you if you look on the facebook group 'eBike Smile - EMTB Community'
