Hey everyone, I can't believe how HUGE ebike/pedal assist bikes have become! I started in 2018 on my 2019 Giant Trance E+ Pro 1 and have nevery looked back! I have been riding almost weekly and totally enjoyed my time riding. I used to ride and race dirt bikes but gave that up in 2000. So now I ride my Ebike and have a blast!

Hopefully they become huge enough to get the archaic USFS rules changed. We need better access to trails. That is my only complaint after going E. Of course this is mostly a USA problem... Better access around the rest of the world.

I couldn't agree more JSrube! I have written to the Department of Interior (DoI) and the US Forest Service (USFS) when I first got my Ebike to complain their definition of an Ebike was completely wrong. After months.......I finely got a reply from the DoI stating they were collecting data to re-evaluate their definition, period.

It is a matter of time before it changes.
