I was welcomed IRL to join this community.
I wanted to cross post a project I just finished.
Here is Quicksilver. MY DIY Nomad conversion with a CYC Photon. Sundance (@sundancecyclist.bsky.social) there is the thread on Bluesky breaking down the build process.
Where should I start? This project started because I am not the kind of person who likes to be told how to ride his bike. I wanted a performance oriented class 3 enduro emtb. I voided some warranties, broke some rules, and feel good about it. I do not recommend doing what I did (edit a carbon frame) but if you are interested I can make some posts about what I did.
