After only 2.000 km it stopped working because of a torque sensor fatal error.
Hi Richywalker64, I went to a Shimano center, they contacted Shimano but they refused to change the motor for free, and asked 700€ instead.Mine e8000 torque sensor also failed after approximately 2000km
I was fortunate, my Merida was 3.5 years old so 18 months out of warranty but Shimano replaced the motor free of charge.
If you bought the bike new from a local dealer try there first, I did and Shimano requested the motor back and sent a new one in it's place free of charge
