Placed an order for a Trek Rail 9.8 XT a week ago and counting down the 160-180 days to estimated delivery date. This will be my first e-bike, looking forward to getting more laps in on my local trails (that allow e-bikes).

Petaluma, Berkeley and San Leandro for me. There is NO way I would have the patience to 160-180 days. I have a difficult time dealing with the USPS when I order online.

Thanks! Completely agree, 160-180 day wait is brutal (no guarantee that it will be ready by then!). LBS had a 9.7 available, but decided to be patient and get the spec that I wanted (upgrading the 9.7 would have been more out of pocket). Will fill in the wait riding my analogue MTB and living vicariously through the EMTB Forums community!

I think with that long of a wait you're only stealing time from yourself...pick up a Craiglist bike in the meantime?
