I just got back into mtbs, and I got myself a Giant Trance e1. Picked it up today and went straight out for a ride. It was insane how well it climbs. Looking forward to future discussions.

Nice! I’m in Brissy too and I’m also looking at the Giant Trance e1, where did you get yours from? I’m planning to head to Giant in the city and also For The Riders, on the weekend to check them out.

I got mine from Tom Wallace. They are prety scarce specially in large and xl, make sure you ask for a deal all the shops i spoke to gave a pretty good discount. Two rides in and loving it.

Cool I will do the rounds on Saturday and see what each shop says about price. If you don’t mind me asking what did you end up paying for yours?

I’m 6ft5 so will definitely want the XL, by the sounds of it I might be on a waiting list if they don’t have any in stock.

Where about so you ride,? I have not been out around Brisbane before, but Mt Cootha is not far from where I live and seems to have some trails.

They gave me a grand off and the city shop was going to match. Giant ashgrove have an xl demo bike you can take out. I am 6ft 3 and got a large after sitting on both. At the moment i will be riding at ironbark gully and bunya.
