I'd look for something light with a Fazua... normal mid motor hardtails are pretty much as heavy as FS Eebs and as a consequence are all pigs to ride.
The Haibike above is almost 3kg heavier than many Shimano E8000 170mm FS Emtbs
Kinesis do a reasonably priced Fazua motor Alu E-Hardtail with good trail bike geometry at around 18kg
