Having had a hardtail for a good 9 months, the type of riding i do is changing. No longer satisfied with fire tracks, I’m purposely seeking out knarly stuff which I never thought I would to begin with.

I can therefore see my next bike will definitely be a full sus.

Loving the hardtail but I can see the future.

I know people on here did warn me that this would happen

Kind of in the same boat. Don’t know if I really need a FS. All depends on the kind of terrain you are talking about.Me and the HT can happily crash our way around trail centre red trails, and that is really the limit of my ambition. I was planning on maybe going to FS this year, but now not so sure with all the madness going on at the moment. Also, I know as much about nuclear fusion as I do about rear suspension, which is jack shit, and there are weight and maintenance issues that you don’t have with a HT. At the moment, mainly riding bridleways and canals , so a FS not needed at the moment, so am waiting to when and if the world ever returns to normal before I make a decision.
