Hi, I have a S4 Levo Expert GEN 3, I’m only 177cm but have stupid long legs, I’d like to replace the standard bars to 50mm rise ones, not looking to compromise use with replacement bars and not too worried about weight, any recommendations that are a great swap from stock but just with the increased rise?
Thanks

Have a look at SQ Labs…

You can get a 50mm rise with a 12 or 16deg backsweep.

I got the 12deg carbon one based on a load of recommendations from here, and it’s soooo good.

Does the SQ Lab one require a change in stem or just a straight swap? Thanks

It looks like the Levo Gen 3 has a 35mm stem / bar... and the SQLabs 30X is a 31.8 bar - so yes, you'd need a new stem.
I've had various Specialized bikes over the years and they've always come with 31.8 bars. I assumed the Levo Gen 3 would be the same - but I'm wrong!

I also have the sqlab 30x bars in 16deg and rate them highly, I would highly recommend doing the wrist angle test first to see if either the 12 or 16 will suit your resting wrist position, or if the standard 7-9deg on most other bars actually fits your better.

The 16deg bars definitely bring the reach closer to you so a longer stem maybe needed. I actually found it okay so stuck with the original stem.
The 12deg again maybe okay on the original stem.

One thing to note is the high rise bars, I believe they state they are a 45mm rise do seem a little lower than stated.
They look too be closer to a 35-40mm rise but that's just at a visual guess when comparing side to side with my spank 50mm rise bars.

Like I say I really rate the sqlab bars but they are only needed if you have a steeper resting wrist angle/ getting wrist pain where the steeper back sweep can help.

I went with the Deity 50s. Great for me I can stand straight & stretch out on the climbs now, and still great control on the downs.
Deity 50/35/800👊
