Handlebar stem question.

I want to fit a stem with a bit of rise and this one looks to suit, it has the right dimensions, 35° rise 50mm reach, but I'm concerned about the depth of the steerer tube clamp.
At 33mm it seems like a small area of stem/steerer tube contact. It is similar in dimensions to a DMR defy which gets good ratings though.

Should I avoid this budget stem and try to find something with a larger clamp area? (Though so far I am struggling to find a short stem with a decent amount of rise, any suggestions?)

I put a DMR Defy+ 35mm on my Giant Trance and it works a dream shortens reach and sits me up slightly which is what I wanted.

I had some spare spacers as you point out as it’s a smaller clamp area.

I tighten it to 8nm vs the 6nm it specifies and it’s stayed on so far

I ride fairly quickly but don’t jump or anything like that.....and I wouldn’t pay for than the £45 I did for a stem.

Thanks for the replies, the duo looks great but is only 10° rise I believe. I'd prefer a little more than that to raise the bars a bit more without increasing reach.
Occupational "wear and tear" on my shoulders make long rides on low bars a painful experience.
