Anybody know of any discrete handgards/brushguards like the ones pictured?

C'mon don't leave me hanging.

Pit bike hand guards cost about £12 a set and fit mtb bars.

Still wouldn't personally.

I don't see the point in using hand guards on a MTB. It's not like you're getting roosted by your mates on 300 or 450 dirt bikes?

Main reason the likes of Sam Hill use them is not to protect hands, but to protect controls in case of a crash, or smacking them on something

Main reason the likes of Sam Hill use them is not to protect hands, but to protect controls in case of a crash, or smacking them on something so the manufacturer can put Sam's name and national flag on and sell them at 600% profit

:ROFLMAO:

Only kidding. a broken lever is game over points wise for a top EWS guy

There’s a lot of gorse bushes on our local trails. I’ve come off from catching the brake and forever getting pricles in the back of my hands . I take a saw and clear them occasionally in places but you can’t do them all , so handgurds could be a good option for me , although I think they don’t look to good on bicycles , but hey nor do mudguards and I couldn’t imagine not having them fitted

I've been wearing my RST summer mesh motorcycle gloves recently. They have a plastic knuckle guard that does a good job of keeping the thorns out of the back of your hand.
